Chroma is operated by Konstantinos Efkarpidis. In this policy, “Chroma,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Chroma mobile application and its operator.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create or access an account, we may collect your account identifier and, where made available by Apple Sign In or Google Sign-In, your name and email address.

Color-analysis and app information

To provide Chroma’s features, we may process your selected goals, preferences, color concerns, color-analysis result, assigned season, palette, saved style guidance, shopping-check data, and subscription status.

Selfie and photo information

Chroma accesses selfies and garment photos only when you choose to use camera, photo-library, palette-saving, or shopping-check functionality. Selfie analysis is performed on your device. Chroma does not upload or share your selfie for cloud AI analysis.

Device, diagnostic, and usage information

We may collect limited technical and usage information, including device and app-version details, feature-use events, crash reports, performance data, and service-provider identifiers.

Payment information

Chroma offers subscriptions through the App Store. Apple processes payments, and we do not receive or store your complete payment-card information.

2. How we use information

  • To create and maintain your account;
  • To deliver color analysis, palette, shopping, and style features;
  • To restore purchases and manage subscription access;
  • To improve Chroma, diagnose errors, and maintain security;
  • To respond to support requests; and
  • To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, with your consent for optional permissions, for our legitimate interests in maintaining and improving Chroma, or to comply with legal obligations.

You may withdraw device permissions through iOS settings. Doing so may limit features that depend on those permissions.

4. Sharing and service providers

We use trusted service providers to operate Chroma:

  • Apple for App Store distribution, purchases, and Apple Sign In;
  • Google Firebase for authentication, cloud database services, analytics, and crash reporting;
  • RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management; and
  • Google Sign-In, if you choose that sign-in method.

These providers process information as needed to provide their services or comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.

If you choose to share a palette image through iOS sharing tools, the recipient and service you select process that content under their own privacy terms.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain account and saved Chroma data while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.

You can delete your account using the in-app account-deletion feature. This removes your account, saved profile, preferences, analysis history, and related active Chroma records immediately.

Limited technical, security, diagnostic, or backup records may remain for a limited time where required by provider backup schedules, fraud prevention, security, or legal obligations.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your information; withdraw consent; receive a portable copy of certain information; or complain to your local data-protection authority.

To make a request, email konstantinos.efkarpidis@outlook.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, so please keep your device and sign-in credentials secure.

9. Children

Chroma is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information without required authorization, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to Chroma, our data practices, or legal requirements. We will update the date above and may provide additional in-app notice for material changes.
