These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Chroma mobile application (the “Service”), operated by Konstantinos Efkarpidis. By downloading, accessing, or using Chroma, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Chroma provides personalized color analysis, palette, style-guide, and shopping-check tools.

Chroma’s results are personal style guidance, not medical, dermatological, professional styling, financial, or purchasing advice. Results may vary with photo quality, lighting, device characteristics, user inputs, and other factors. We do not guarantee that a result will suit every person, garment, product, occasion, or preference.

2. Account and access

Some features require an account or subscription.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and activity performed through your account.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect Chroma, users, or third parties, or where you materially violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions, trials, and payments

Chroma may offer weekly, monthly, and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions. Eligible users may receive a 7-day free trial.

Prices, availability, and subscription details are shown in the App Store before purchase and may vary by country or region. Apple processes payments through your Apple ID; Chroma does not process payment-card information directly.

Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, your subscription automatically renews. Apple may charge your Apple ID for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple ID subscription settings in the App Store. Deleting Chroma or your Chroma account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.

A free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Any unused trial period may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where permitted by Apple’s policies. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its applicable App Store policies.

4. Permitted use

You may use Chroma only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You must not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or attempt to extract Chroma’s source code except where law permits;
  • Interfere with the security, operation, or availability of the Service;
  • Use Chroma to infringe another person’s rights;
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
  • Use automated systems to access or misuse the Service; or
  • Misrepresent your identity or subscription status.

5. Your photos and content

You retain ownership of photos and content you provide to Chroma. You grant us a limited right to process your photos and inputs solely to provide the features you request.

Selfie analysis is performed on-device. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed for any image you choose to upload, analyze, save, or share.

6. Intellectual property

Chroma, including its software, visual design, text, branding, analysis logic, and other content, is owned by Konstantinos Efkarpidis or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Chroma on devices you own or control.

7. Availability, updates, and third parties

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of Chroma. Features may depend on device capabilities, iOS versions, App Store services, and third-party providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Chroma uses third-party services, including Apple, Firebase, RevenueCat, and optional Google Sign-In. Your use of those services may also be governed by their separate terms and privacy policies.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is explained in the Chroma Privacy Policy. By using Chroma, you acknowledge that you have reviewed it.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chroma is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that Chroma will always be available, secure, error-free, accurate, complete, or suitable for every purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Konstantinos Efkarpidis will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Chroma.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer protections.

10. Termination

You may stop using Chroma at any time and may delete your account through the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or where needed to protect users, Chroma, or legal rights.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections available under the laws of your country of residence.

12. Apple-specific terms

  • These Terms are between you and Konstantinos Efkarpidis, not Apple.
  • Apple is not responsible for Chroma’s support or maintenance.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to Chroma.
  • You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Chroma.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will show a revised date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
